Wait, Waiting and Waited
Good morning Family! Today’s question: What does the word wait mean to you ?
The Hebrew word for “wait” (qavah) also means to hope with expectation. “He invigorates the exhausted, he gives strength to the powerless.”
‭‭Yesha 'yahu (Isa)‬ ‭40‬:‭29‬ ‭CJB‬‬ ““Desist, and learn that I am God, supreme over the nations, supreme over the earth.””
‭‭Tehillim (Psa)‬ ‭46‬:‭11‬ ‭CJB‬‬
Second question: How does busyness affect your performance and outcome?
I was busy, but was I fruitful? “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.”
John 15:5 (NIV)The word “remain” (Greek meno) means to dwell, to continue, to stay. It’s not a quick visit but a relationship of ongoing dependence. Prayer: Father I pray that you will bring fruit from our faithfulness, and not depend on the temporary things of this world, but to totally depend on the eternal life in your Son, Jesus Christ Amen
