🎥 Record Your "Introduce Your Country" Video
Before your first Speed Meeting event, take 5 minutes to record a short video introducing yourself and where you're from. This isn't about being polished — it's about giving your Japanese conversation partners a quick, personal window into your world before you meet.
Keep it under 2 minutes and cover:
- Your name and where you live (city/town)
- One thing you love about your city (a place, a food, a tradition)
- One thing you're curious about Japan or want to learn
Quick tips: Film horizontally, use your phone, natural light near a window works great. No script needed — just talk like you're telling a friend about your town. One take is fine — this is about connection, not production quality.
Post your video in the #intro-videos channel. Your Japanese conversation partners may watch it before your rotation — so when your 3 minutes start, you're not starting from zero.
