I have loved every moment of wearing this peacock chrome mani!
As I’m relatively new to using & wearing chrome, I’ve been exploring to see what I like in addition to a chrome finish, so I played a little more here with texture and art on top after wearing just the chrome + peacock feather for most of the week.
On my index finger: I played with a cross-hatch design with polish (a teal crelly and a holo glitter + topcoat) and clear puffy gel on top. The texture got lost a little bit because I worked the puffy gel too thin, so it was a good learning experience.
On my middle finger: I used a clear base gel to bloom a teal crelly gel into a flower, added a few tiny dots of holo glitter to the middle and after topcoat, added a few dots of puffy gel to bring out the holo glitter just a bit more. I personally adore the full shine of this peacock chrome and this is an interesting way to soften it just a bit - a hidden treasure!
On my ring finger: I used clear puffy gel on top of the gold chrome gel to see if it would bring that out even more, and I think it did! It was also the first thing I tried, and I wondered how thin I’d be able to lay down this gel - very thin, assuming I use a thin liner brush.
On my pinky: I used puffy gel to add squiggles, used a white/silver chrome on top, then added topcoat to seal the chrome. It’s hard to see the detail in this photo but I love the contrasting, textured chrome on mirror chrome!
Most of the time I end up playing with my mani design as I wear it to better understand possibilities and what I personally like to wear. It’s been a fun way to keep exploring ♥️
