Meaning Making with Ritual
One of the things modern life has quietly lost is ritual.
Not performance. Not tradition for tradition’s sake.
But meaningful moments that help us process change.
Humans naturally create ritual around transitions: grief, relationships, new beginnings, uncertainty, identity shifts, and endings.
Because ritual helps us pause long enough to acknowledge: something is changing.
Without those moments, people often stay emotionally caught between who they were and who they’re becoming.
It’s something I see often in readings and conversations here at the markets.
Sometimes people sit down thinking they need answers… but what they really need is space to reflect, reconnect and hear themselves clearly again.
Ritual doesn’t need to be dramatic to be meaningful.
Sometimes it’s simply creating a moment of intention in the middle of a busy world.
