I see a ton of players early in their career use a much longer stick. I'm curious...
- What's your rational behind this?
- Why longer?
- If you use short, why shorter?
My view here is yes, a longer stick helps with your shot than a shorter stick. This is because you have more flex on the stick...
Nowadays technology allows sticks to be in the 10-20 flex range...? So why not go shorter (with the same amount of flex) with more control?
I'm honestly just curious what everyone else's preference is?
Drop a picture of your sticks down belowπ
Share your current height and weight along side your stick flex...?
Take a picture of you standing beside your hockey stick (on feet) or if you have one on skates... π
π For reference I like my stick shorter than average...
Mine goes to about my chin and half way to my neck on skates...
I will take a picture and come back to you all today...
