Crystals and Stones I Recommend - #1 - Clear Quartz
I've been working with stones and crystals for a long time. I'm often asked what stones and crystals I recommend. In this series, I'm providing my top 10 recommendations.
Let's start with clear Quartz. This is the #1 crystal I recommend to everyone. Quartz is piezoelectric, which means it generates an electric voltage when pressurized. In some cases, if you rub two quartz crystals together correctly sometimes you'll see a charge glowing between them. Quartz also has a stable frequency.
From a metaphysical perspective, quartz 'Amplifies' energy. This is helpful with for a number of reasons.
- Quartz enhances the energy of other crystals and stones. This is especially useful with grids, gem waters, and just day to day use.
- Quartz amplifies intentions, which assists with manifesting your desires. Other crystals and stones have specific properties that can be helpful for manifesting in conjunction with clear quartz.
- Quartz helps with spiritual development and growth, as well as enhancing intuition and clarifying energy.
- Quartz can balance your entire aura and contribute to energetic balance.
How to use Quartz:
- Wear clear quartz as necklace, bracelet, etc to balance your energies and soothe stress and anxiety.
- Keep a quartz tumble in your pocket. Note, quartz is harder than most stones so be careful what you combine if you keep a lot of stones in your pockets.
- Hold a clear quartz point or tumble in your hand while meditating.
- Program a clear quartz for a specific intention and either carry it with you or perhaps add it into a grid.

5. Add quartz to a gem water. As quartz is a silicate, as long as it's clean you can add it to your water. I recommend using a point rather than a tumble as tumbles have been polished and that polish may dissolve.
6. Experience it's beauty. Have quartz tumbles, points, clusters, etc around your home for beauty and to enhance energy.
