❓ What is Courvoisier’s Law?
- A palpable gallbladder with painless jaundice is unlikely to be caused by gallstones.
❓ Why is that?
Long-standing gallstones → chronic inflammation → fibrotic, shrunken, non-distensible gallbladder, so it does not enlarge, even if obstructed.
