Tornados 🌪️
There is always a lot of concern from people about the threat of Tornados in Tennessee.
Typically, East Tennessee has a lower risk of Tornado activity than other areas of the state. However, the risk is not zero. East Tennessee does experience extreme weather occasionally and anyone interested in the area should do as much research as possible if this is a major concern.
Per the National Weather Service website between the years 1950-2025 Hamblen County Tennessee has only experienced 3 Tornados. This map is a great resource to confirm any counties you may be interested in.
