My name is Kimberly Jimenez, I'm 27 and the owner of Moon Beauty. I have two beautiful children. I started my business because I hated working for someone, plain and simple. I took a Dental Assisting course in high school and luckily only worked in the dental field but I still couldn't shake the feeling of wanting to be my own boss. Despite my mother constantly re-assuring me that the Dental field was my best option I still decided to take the leap of faith. Everyone around me encouraged me to stay on track and not follow my dreams. Understandably, because they love me and don’t want to see me struggle. But that wasn't for me, I didn't want to live in fear and scarcity. I wanted to see what would happen if I bet on myself, if I put all my faith into myself instead of what people were telling me. Now a couple years later, I am making progress and getting closer to my goals. I truly aspire to help others along the way while also doing what I love. Faith based, I do it with God almighty!
