I’m in the early concept stage of a short children’s flip book designed specifically for dental offices.
The intention is emotional regulation through story — not instruction.
A calm, friendly narrative that helps kids feel oriented, safe, and curious before their appointment.
Dentists could keep it in the waiting room and give it to kids to take home, creating familiarity before future visits.
I’m curious from a creator’s lens:
Would you lean character-driven or experience-driven?
What tone works best for anxious kids — playful, soothing, or matter-of-fact?
Any children’s books that helped without trying to help?
I’d love to hear your creative instincts on this 📖✨
