Why Is It So Hard for Women to Make Friends?
Let’s be honest — making friends as an adult woman can feel like trying to join a club that nobody admits exists. We all crave connection, but between work, kids, relationships, recovery, and the daily chaos of life, it can start to feel easier to just keep our heads down and go it alone.
We say we’ll reach out. We say, “Let’s grab coffee sometime!” But then the day runs away from us, the kids melt down, dinner burns, and suddenly another week’s gone by and that text we meant to send just… isn’t.
And truthfully? Many of us have been hurt by past friendships — left out, misunderstood, or drained by one-sided relationships. It’s no wonder we build walls even though our hearts are desperate for connection.
This space — Moms, Mayhem & Miracles — is here to break that pattern. It’s where you can be real, messy, funny, tired, hopeful, healing, and seen. 🖤
