I still remember the first day @zvonne_mma walked into the gym. He was just a skinny kid back then – hungry, fearless, and with that quiet determination in his eyes. Fifteen years later, I watched him step into the cage for the very last time. This sport has taken us around the world together. We’ve stood in tiny local arenas and massive international stadiums. We’ve felt the highest highs and the darkest lows. Because fighting is like that – it’s either heaven or hell, there’s no middle ground. Seeing someone almost every day for over a decade builds a bond that’s hard to explain. You share blood, sweat, tears, and dreams. That’s why this weekend was so emotional. Zvonne finished his career the way every fighter dreams of – with a highlight-reel knockout, landing one of our named combinations, “zaromski”, a punch-to-kick sequence we drilled countless times. Throughout his journey, he’s become a Swedish boxing champion 🥇, a Swedish BJJ champion 🥇, a Swedish Sanda champion🥇, and fought professionally in MMA and Muay Thai. I’m so proud to have stood by his side through it all. But most of all, I’m proud to call him my friend.
