Building my own kubernetes cluster helped me get my new job

I saw your tweet about how making your own rasperry pi kubernetes cluster would help get you a job, by standing out and showing genuine interest in learning, which I did.

Well on Thursday this week I had an interview, and then a job offer, where my interviewer said he read my github and saw my raspberry pi kubernetes cluster code and we talked about it! The job was a super competative role, basically working on an AI chatbot for hedge funds, and I think projects like this on my github made the difference. They mentioned that they liked my contributions to open source projects.
