beware of fake experts
(and don't publish AI slop when creating content)
A few days ago, I found a guy in a group who is completely faking his “expert status”. It is a business related group and he posts “case studies”, how much money he made, how well he implemented the solution for the client … etc. Very convincing and detail oriented, but the mere quantities raised my suspicion. If all of his stories were true, he would be a billionaire by now.
Been watching him for a while, but now I have found the damning evidence that he is faking his case studies, they are probably all AI generated.
The evidence: the case study claims that the workflow he's selling has been evolving over years, starting from 2018, when it was first created with 6 n8n nodes.
Too bad that n8n only exists since 2024...
