When I launched my apparel business, I had zero sales for 90 days—and was bleeding money on marketing. I questioned whether I was even cut out for entrepreneurship. Every time I saw others winning, the lies crept in: “You’re not enough.” I was frustrated and feeling helpless. But I didn't give up. I kept showing up even when I felt overwhelmed and burnt out.
God reminded me of His promise in Philippians 4:19, “My God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory.” So I continued to show up every day—even when I was cleaning vacation rentals just to stay afloat. Even when I was exhausted and still needing to be a present mom. Even when the house needed to be cleaned, dishes washed, laundry cleaned, and dinner cooked. Even when my body was screaming no I pushed myself to keep going. I knew that God equipped me for greatness and my muscles were being stretched to become stronger.
On day 90, desperate for change because I still was losing money, I reached out to a coach I’d been listening to daily on her podcast. I knew deep down she was the one God put in my path to learn from. I was just scared to find out how much she charged...The cost? When she told me $2,500/month—more than my rent in 2020 I lost my breath fr fr. I told her, I don't have that right now but “I’ll be back in 30 days." I then pleaded with my property manager to give me more work so I could take care of some things financially.
To earn her, I doubled my cleaning workload—even with no guarantee of success or having enough to pay her the next month, but that didn't stop me I moved in Faith. Thirty days later, I signed her on—scared, full of anxiety and questions but I kept trusting God. I kid you not by the end of our first month together, I hit my first $10K in sales. I was in tears because I never gave up even when everyone else told me I needed to slow down. From there: $30K months. $50K months. $100K months—all consistently. My business went global.
I invested $30K over those 12 months in coaching—and it was the best investment I’ve ever made. I did 750K in sales that year. I learned that nothing changes until we sacrifice and go all-in on ourselves. Being fired from my corporate job was the best thing that ever happened to me.
I’ve been at my worst—facing eviction, having utilities shut off, even homelessness. And I’ve also experienced God’s highest highs. Now, four years later, I have the honor of guiding everyday people—driven by faith—to level up with mentorship and my courses. I don’t gatekeep—the world is abundant when we walk in obedience and unity and have a heart to serve and challenge people to keep growing.
If no one’s told you today: You are special. You’ve got divine purpose. And your breakthrough is coming. If no one supports you, God does and there are people out here rooting you on. Even above all the haters. Even they are used for a purpose. God knows exactly what He's doing every time you are cut.
