New Year's Truth: Your fruit WILL remain!
John 15:16 is Jesus talking and He tells his disciples this:
"You did not chose me, but I chose you and appointed you, that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit will remain, that the Father may give you whatever you ask Him in My name."
Is it just me or is this kinda insane--that God chose you BEFORE you could think to chose Him. And that he didn't JUST chose you, but he APPOINTED you--he gave you a purpose, an assignment to do, something special that ONLY you could fulfill, and as you go and do that thing, you are blessed to bear FRUIT THAT REMAINS because you are connected to Him as the sustainer.
Your efforts aren't going to just be one and done this year. You're not going to strive and get no where. They are going to lassssttttt, sis!
My prayer for you on this first Monday of the year is that you would accept your position as the daughter of the vinedresser (John 15) and realize that BECAUSE YOU ARE CONNECTED, your fruit will remain.
So whatever that fruit might look like for you in this new year and within your motherhood experience, I pray that you ASK BOLDLY in His name and ACT BOLDLY knowing that whatever you are doing in His name is going to work.
PSALM 1:3
He will be like a tree planted by the rivers of water that brings forth its fruit in its season,
it's leaf will not wither and whatever he does will proper.
