Parameters in Power BI report
with the launch of MS Fabric I was excited of the semantic model you have available and its direct useability fo generating a power bi report without the need of Power BI desktop.
Still 1 big issue remains : i suppose i'm not the only one struggling with manageability of power bi reports which make use of bookmarks, especially used for changing X-or Y-as fields in graphs 'dynamically' etc. The use of parameters makes it much more handy to manage, BUT you need 'Import mode' again, so no more option to use the semanic model/direct lake mode from MS Fabric itself and back to power bi desktop :-(.
Anyone found a workaround being able to configure parameters in the semantic model from MS Fabric to prevent the use of Bookmarks in Power BI ?
Guy-in-a-cube shows a workaround Can you use Field Parameters with Direct Lake in Power BI? (youtube.com) but you still need Tabular Editor (3)....
