Me & My DP-700 Exam Journey- Preparation, and Lessons Learned
Dear Community!!
It's my first time posting so at first I'll I want to thank you all for this great and very dynamic community!!!!
As a Senior Azure Data Engineer who has worked on many end-to-end Data & AI projects using Azure Data Factory and Synapse analytics and Databricks, I wanted to strengthen my skills in Data Engineering using Microsoft Fabric because I see many of my clients (In Belgium) are migrating from other platforms ( Power BI , ADF...) To Fabric.
That’s why I decided to take the DP-700 certification exam.
First Attempt: 920 –
- Read MS Learn modules thoroughly.
- Will PowerBi to Fabric Playlist https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLug2zSFKZmV3eee0W2PJU8XNJbu1dn3-P
- Then I watched Will DP-700 Playlist https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KiB4eAeFRsw&pp=ygUGZHAgNzAw
- Practiced SQL, KQL, and PySpark daily.
- Did Fabric hands-on labs to get real experience.

- Learn Microsoft Fabric with Will
- Practice Tests to validate the knowledge
- Hands-on Practice
Actual Exam Experience
- Exam Pattern: more of questions about Ingest and transform streaming data
- Tips: MS Learn + Will’s videos + Hands-on = success.
