Was That God… or Just Me?
You know who didn’t automatically recognize God’s voice?
Samuel.
He was serving in the temple.He was under spiritual leadership.He was doing the right things.
Yet when God called him, he missed it, not once, but three times.
Why? Because learning to hear God is a process.
Many people read their Bible, attend church, pray, and still struggle to discern God’s voice because life is loud. Thoughts are loud. Opinions are loud. Fear is loud.
What helped Samuel was a mature voice and practical instruction.
That’s what we’re doing tonight.
