Hey friends, quick update and invitation. I’ve started building a new course called Chester County Civic Records & Process Toolkit. The goal is simple: help residents engage public institutions with clarity, dignity, and lawful process—especially around RTKL requests, responses, and appeals—without snark, rumor, or retaliation. This is a process-first resource.Not a drama space.Not a take-down project.Not a place to target private individuals. What you’ll see inside as it develops: - RTKL 101 (plain-language guidance + prototypical request structure) - East Whiteland & East Pikeland living case-study pages - OSD, PSP, living case-study pages - Court of Common Pleas record-hygiene best practices - A Resource Templates folder to track communications, RTKLs, and appeals For now, I’m keeping access restricted while I finish the foundation and organize the resources. My plan is to open it to the wider group within the next two weeks (by December 19, 2025). This course is governed by our Meraki Private Membership Agreement, and the tone will remain consistent with my public posture: respectful, lawful, and honorable. Well, I will be visiting my voting location on election day, but not for the same reason others may be going. I will be an observer mostly and see if people attempt to engage with me. But, I am going to make a small little ripple in Southern Chester County with an email which I intend to put out on Monday. Remember, its always about the Gospel, and I can "control" my own narrative and actions. I also can protect myself from the predicted response. The framing of this letter (structure) is important. It is biblical, honorable, truthful and indicates openness for repentance and restoration. At the same time, you all know that I have zero ability or interest to restrain anyones free will. I want to show them in my words and deeds that I "Love my neighbor" so much that I want to say... Don't hurt yourself, Hell will totally SUCK! I am sharing this in here for now. These are more than just words (However, I use a ton of words when I'm writing and try to reflect these words), but are manifest by actions. Who am I really? Is it who you say I am based upon our direct one to one relationship? Or, am I who you say I am to others based upon what you heard? What someone may say about me might say more about themselves than it may actually be about me. I have plenty of deer tracks in the woods if I wanted to call myself a deer. But if you don't come to my woods and stink at tracking, who knows what you would say. (You = the general public who I have yet to meet, that speaks about me)
