Yesterday reminded me that nursing truly extends far beyond the bedside.

I left the Beyond the Shift manifesto brunch feeling inspired and stretched — learning the power of intentional networking, confidently approaching companies with genuine interest, and using platforms like LinkedIn more strategically.

It was eye-opening to meet nurses who are not only thriving, but earning well in spaces I previously knew little to nothing about. Proof that our skills are transferable, valuable, and in demand in more rooms than we often realise.

Most importantly, I’m leaning into a new habit: writing down my plans, my goals, and the exact steps I’ll take to achieve them. Clarity creates confidence — and confidence creates movement.

Grateful for rooms like this, conversations like these, and the reminder that growth begins the moment we allow ourselves to see beyond the shift. 💭✨
