As women, we often pour so much of our energy into the external. We think it’s how we look that draws love, so we shape ourselves through clothes, makeup, and image. We think it’s how we act, so we learn behaviors and ways of being. And that’s okay — the outer does affect the inner state.
But the deepest transformation begins within. 🌸 If we don’t tend to our inner world — the healing, the stillness, the processing of our pain — then the outside will never feel complete.
So the next time you feel called to invest in the external, consider also investing in the internal. Sit with yourself. Breathe with yourself. Allow all parts of you to be seen and held. That is where true beauty radiates from — the beauty that shines through your eyes, your presence, your energy.
This doesn’t mean to neglect the physical. A dress, makeup, adornment — they are sacred too. They allow us to express our essence. But balance is everything. If you have been focused only on your inner work, don’t be afraid of celebrating your outer beauty. And if you’ve been focused only on your appearance, come back home to your inner temple.
Love yourself from the inside out, and the outside in. Every layer of you is divine. Every expression of you is love. 🤍
