The Florida National Scenic Trail stretches roughly 1,500 miles from the southern terminus in Big Cypress National Preserve to the white sand beaches of Gulf Islands National Seashore. It is one of only 11 National Scenic Trails in the United States and the only National Scenic Trail that traverses a subtropical wilderness from swamp to seashore.
