We as humans approach life in a strange way sometimes.
We assume there’s an end.A finish line.An invite to some special members-only club where everything finally clicks.
But the truth is…
The only end is when we die.Until then, we’ve got the beautiful gift that is life.
Think about it.
Work is endless trading is endless.Exercise is endless.Marriage is endless.Learning is endless.Investing is endless.Creating is endless.
You don’t “complete” these things.
You live them.
And that’s where most people get it wrong.
They approach an endless game with a finite mindset.
They think:“I’ll be happy when I make X.”“I’ll relax when I reach Y.”“I’ll feel confident when Z happens.”
But life doesn’t work like that.
The objective isn’t to be done. The objective is to build a life you can sustain.
One where you make daily progress on things that actually matter.
Because here’s the uncomfortable truth…
Most of what you’re chasing only sits on a pedestal because you put it there.
Nothing rises above you on its own! Its lifted by the value you assign to it.
And ironically, that same value is often what keeps you stuck.
You think you "need" the result! So you grip tighter.Stress more.Force outcomes.
And the loop just keeps running like an algo stuck on repeat.
But if you can operate from a place of not needing the outcome…
You’ve already won.
Because now you’re playing the game properly.Calm.Consistent.Present.Detached from the noise.
That’s where real progress lives.
And that’s where life gets a lot lighter.
