I shower and shave everyday and do scalp massages after with a small pea size amount of oil, but not everyday do I let water run through my hair maybe 2-4 days. But actual "shampooing" I do 1-2 days a week. After expanding my mind I've in fact went no-poo for a year and doing natural hair protocols with the help of Selfmaxxer on yt/skool.
Here's the real kicker: I wash my hair with eggs. As a conditioner I use shea butter. I've fs seen improvements like my lifelong dandruff disappearing. I try leaving the eggs in for a few minutes in my cold washed hair prior, although 10 is recommended for proper absorption and cleaning. I cold shower at the end and press out excess water. After shower I massage my scalp, which makes my scalp and hair breath more. I then let it air dry. I don't have any issues with this shower routine.
I'm glad I never tried minox/fin since a hair oil blend (like 10% rosemary oil and saw palmetto, potentially blended with pumpkin seed, rosemary, peppermint, stinging nettle, and castor oil) does as good or even better since it doesn't go systematic through your scalp unlike potentially toxic minox/fin/dust.
The shea butter conditioner I use after egg wash, is leaved in my hair for a few minutes then washed out with cold water so there might be some "leave-in" conditioner when I stepped out the shower.
As for meds/supps I have a healthy diet but no supps specific for hair outside magnesium+zinc rn. Eating raw liver, eggs and butter is and should be a priority for hairmaxxing. Also a good hair mask using honey and a bit of aloe vera helps.
