Mould-Eze Spray
For those who have mould in the home, here is a mould cleaning spray that can be used to help with this issue.
First, you want to remove the mould by vacuuming it up using a HEPA filter bagged vacuum (remember to throw out the bag and wipe down the vacuum using this spray).
Spray the surface affected with mould with the following spray, allow to sit for 10-15 minutes, respray and wipe down with a microfibre cloth. Throw out the microfibre after using.
The main ingredient of focus for this spray is 6% Hydrogen Peroxide.
Hydrogen peroxide is a versatile, eco-friendly disinfectant safe for most hard, non-porous surfaces, including kitchen counters, stainless steel, glass, porcelain, toilets, and bathroom tiles. The Hydrogen peroxide will remove the color and stains from the moulds.
It works on mold by releasing oxygen molecules that break down the fungus at its cellular level through oxidation, targeting DNA and essential proteins.
When applied, it penetrates porous surfaces, bubbling to lift mold while leaving no toxic residue.
  • 244mls 6% Hydrogen Peroxide
  • 1.5mls Clove Bud essential oil (Syzygium aromaticum)
  • 1ml Te Tree essential oil (Melaleuca alternifolia)
  • 1ml Anise Myrtle essential oil (Syzygium anisatum)
  • 0.5ml Eucalyptus Blue Gum (Eucalyptus globulus)
  • 0.5ml Thyme thymol (Thymus vulgaris ct. thymol)
  • 0.5ml Peppermint (Mentha piperita)
Mix everything and add to a 250ml Amber Glass Trigger Spray Bottle.
Why these essential Oils:
  • Tea Tree (Melaleuca alternifolia) - Powerhouse antifungal and antimicrobial properties; excellent for
  • mould prevention
  • Eucalyptus (Eucalyptus globulus) - Strong antifungal action; helps penetrate porous surfaces
  • Thyme (Thymus vulgaris) - Potent antimicrobial and antifungal; highly effective against mould spores
  • Anise Myrtle (Syzygium anisatum) - Antifungal support; adds aromatic freshness
  • Clove (Syzygium aromaticum) - Powerful antifungal properties; helps prevent spore proliferation
  • Peppermint (Mentha piperita) - Antimicrobial support; refreshing scent
Safety:
  • Never apply undiluted essential oils to skin
  • Avoid Direct Skin Contact: This blend is formulated for surface cleaning only, not for skin application
  • Ventilation is Essential: Use in well-ventilated areas. Some oils in this blend can be irritating to the respiratory membranes in concentrated amounts

  • Keep Away from Children and Pets: Store safely out of reach

Safety Sources: According to Essential Oil Safety by Robert Tisserand and Rodney Young, Tea Tree, Thyme, and Clove require proper dilution and ventilation. Pregnant individuals, those with respiratory sensitivities, or anyone with medical conditions should consult with a Certified Aromatherapist near them.
