In 2012, I was on top of the photography world. I made 420k that year, was shooting, teaching and speaking all over the world, and you would THINK I didn't need help from anyone.
But I had a HUGE problem.
80% of my income was tied to me traveling, and my then wife and I wanted to start having kids. I had NO idea how to shift my income from travel based to home based.
So I consulted the smartest friend I had, and he said I needed to make a plan to quickly change my income stream so I could live at home and do more online and local work.
I asked if he would coach me through the process and he agreed.
I paid him $5,000 and he gave me a 10 point plan. I did everything he said, and in 2013, I was home all year, I took 5 months OFF of work, built a new home, had our son Jaxon, and grossed $550,000!
I would say that $5,000 coaching investment was worth it.
When someone else looks at what you are doing from the outside and that person has experience unlocking potential, it can quickly transform your life, your photography and your career.
This has happened to me in my photography, business, and family life. And I have seen it happen in dozens of people I have coached and helped over the years.
Last year, I coached 45 photographers. One of the women who hired me needed help in her boutique portrait business. Within ONE week, I helped her generate $30,000 in new revenue from ONE idea. It was AMAZING!
