Today I’ve been spending time inside the DFY Funnel system and listening to their latest masterclass lesson. Honestly—powerful stuff.
But it also brought up a very real question that I know a lot of people run into:
Where do you actually start first?
When you’re looking at:
- A funnel
- Training
- Traffic options
- Content ideas
It’s easy to feel like you should be doing everything at once.
What I’m realizing (and relearning) is this:
👉 The first step isn’t traffic.👉 The first step isn’t content.👉 The first step is clarity.
Before doing anything else, I’m focusing on:
- Understanding what the funnel is designed to do
- Who it’s meant to help
- What action it’s guiding someone toward
Once that’s clear, everything else gets easier:
- What kind of content to write
- Where to send traffic
- What not to worry about yet
So that’s my focus right now—slowing down just enough to understand the system before trying to drive people to it.
Next, I’ll share how I decide:
- What to work on first inside a funnel
- What to ignore (at least for now)
- And how I simplify things so it doesn’t feel overwhelming
If you’ve ever felt stuck at the “where do I even begin?” stage, you’re not alone.
More soon as I keep working through this.
