In Indian culture (India) it is considered a shame upon the family for any male member of the family to be poor. In India the cast system type government sort of ensures this.
Once in our capitalist system they teach each other, hold each other accountable, make introductions, even give each other loans. Every member plays together insisting the success of each other.
