Welcome
Hey Folks,
This space is called Making Work because it’s about the ongoing act of making photographs, not finished projects or constant output. I have personally been through lengthy periods of not being able to make work for various reasons, and so I thought I would create this space to discuss this and to share some of the tips and motivations that have helped me to get out and make some new work.
You don’t need to introduce yourself or post anything straight away. It’s completely fine to arrive quietly, look around, and take your time.
When you do share, the focus here is on observation and process rather than explanation or polished final images. Small, unfinished, or uncertain work is very welcome (and what were talking about here)
I’ll occasionally post prompts, images, or thoughts about practice, but there’s no expectation to keep up or participate in a particular way.
Whilst the general discussion remains free of charge, there will be workshop series' which do cost a small fee to cover my time preparing and delivering the sessions.
If you have questions, feel free to ask. Otherwise, settle in, and I look forward to seeing you around...
