Mounjaro, how it arrives and where to store it
When your Mounjaro arrives, it’s more straightforward than people think. It comes in an unmarked box, inside that is an insulated bag with a cooling pack to keep it at the right temperature during delivery. You’ll also get needles for the pen and alcohol wipes.
The big question is always about storage. If you’re going to use the pen within a day or two, it doesn’t need to go straight into the fridge. Once it comes out of the 2 to 8 degree range, you have 30 days to use it, which covers the four doses.
You can keep it in a press as long as it stays under 30 degrees. If you’re not planning to use it soon, or it’s going to last longer than 30 days, then put it in the fridge. Just don’t store it in the door where the temperature changes a lot, and don’t push it up against the back where it can get too cold.
Simple rule. Using it within 30 days, press is fine. Longer than that, fridge.
