Daily Prayer
Dear God,
I lift up to You all who are struggling this Christmas season. For those feeling the pain of loss or missing loved ones, surround them with Your comfort and peace. “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” (Psalm 34:18). Meet them right where they are, Lord, and remind them that even in sorrow, You are near. Fill their hearts with hope and the gentle assurance of Your love.
Help us all to focus on the true meaning of Christmas, celebrating the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Let Your presence bring warmth to our gatherings and joy to our hearts. Teach us to cherish the moments we have and to reflect Your love to those around us.
