A learning community where women come to explore off-grid living guided by Francis Hollis, former professor, artist, big city creative strategist who came to prefer a nature-centric life in Colorado. Hollis aims to empower women toward by demystifying offgrid living. Participants immerse themselves in foundational aspects of off-grid life focusing on essential tools, building materials, permits-ensuring they gain practical skills to plan projects confidently/competently.
This course uses safe exploration: fabrication, gardening, tool usage-helping participants overcome barriers. Lessons cover basic carpentry/safe tool use elevating competence/experience. Connection with participants is key as collab projects/knowledge-sharing help build strong relationships extending the impact beyond this community.
In sum, this learning community offers women a chance to learn offgrid living principles while making a network, confidence, skills taught by a woman who has walked the same path as well.
