"Forgive and you will see this differently"

These are the lessons God would have you learn. ²His Will reflects them all, and they reflect His loving kindness to the Son He loves. ³Each lesson has a central thought, the same in all of them. ⁴The form alone is changed, with different circumstances and events; with different characters and different themes, apparent but not real. ⁵They are the same in fundamental content. ⁶It is this:

⁷Forgive, and you will see this differently. (ACIM, W-193.3:1-7)

This is why forgiveness is not for anyone else and requiring them to change their ways for our peace of mind. It is only within our mind where correction is practiced. [But what we give multiplies - more on this another day]

If I am triggered, I have the opportunity to forgive. In most cases I won't be able to forgive or see with loving eyes immediately- that's okay. However, I can ask to see more clearly with the Grace of Holy Spirit.

The main point is that I'm willing (or an itty bitty teeny tiny willing) to release how I am seeing this situation and how I'm allowing this situation to further define me.
