Today I was listening to a podcast about living in the present โ and something the host said stopped me in my tracks:
And itโs true, isnโt it?
Our dogs donโt dwell on yesterdayโs mistake or worry about tomorrowโs challenge. Theyโre fully here โ with us โ in every tail wag, every look, every moment of connection.
That presence is something we feel in our bones. Itโs calming. Healing. Real. They remind us to slow down, to be right here, right nowโฆ and to find joy in the simple things โ a walk, a quiet moment on the couch, a shared look.
Maybe thatโs one of the greatest gifts our Shepherds (and their awesome mixes) give us โa daily reminder of what it means to truly be present.
Whatโs a moment with your dog where you felt that connection โ like time stopped and it was just the two of you, completely in sync?
Iโd love to hear it. ๐พ๐Letโs celebrate those little moments that mean everything.
