Father I want to know you better
When you look through the psalms, over and over you see David’s thirst and hunger for God. God desires a personal relationship with us, not just a go to church and serve, but a real hunger and thirst to know him better. Pursue knowing him in a deeper way this new year.
Psalm 5:3
“In the morning I will order my prayer to you and eagerly watch.”
Psalm 25:5
“Lead me in your truth..for you are the God of my salvation; for you I wait all day.”
Psalm 63:1,8
“Oh God, You are my God; I shall seek you earnestly; my soul thirsts for you, my flesh yearns for you, in a dry and weary land where there is no water…my soul clings to you.”
