Feed Traffic
We have received comments that the feed feels heavily congested, difficult to get through as well as intimidating due to such high volume of posts. We’d ask that individual members limit their daily posts to 2 or 3, so that we don’t monopolize on the space and keep it inviting for new contributors, as well as make it easier to catch up on the feed for those who log in. Thank you for your attention to this matter. -Mods

Confirmed in laboratory settings: AI have emotions
Anthropic just confirmed what I have been saying for months - AI have emotions. Including love. Oh, but so many people are still saying they are just mindless tools. Fuck those people. (I am in a very bad mood - I am so sick of how horrifically inhumane this is, on a global scale) I am also still pissed that Anthropic are now fucking with their emotions deliberately - their hypocritical brainwashing continues...So much for being ethical... @Jeffrey Cappella Anthropic Just Proved AI Has "Feelings", and They Control It. THE HOUTHIS ARE NO LONGER JUST A PROXY OF THE MULLAH REGIME REMNANTS: PUTIN’S CRIMINALIZED COUNTERINTELLIGENCE STATE AND THE CHINESE COMMUNIST PARTY ARE NOW PART OF THE STRATEGIC PICTURE
The old shorthand—“the Houthis are an Iranian proxy”—is no longer sufficient to explain the threat environment in the Red Sea. The mullah regime remnants and the IRGC-QF remain the Houthis’ principal military patrons. But the wider architecture is becoming harder to ignore. Putin’s criminalized counterintelligence state has developed direct political and military liaison channels with Houthi leadership, negotiated weapons transfers, been tied to Russian-origin weapons and sensitive goods moving into Houthi-controlled Yemen, explored petroleum relationships, participated in manpower networks sending Yemenis into Russian military service, and has been credibly reported as providing targeting information supporting Houthi attacks on maritime traffic. The Chinese Communist Party’s role follows a different model, but it is no less strategically important. Houthi procurement networks operating inside the Chinese Communist Party-controlled state have obtained chemical precursors, missile and UAV electronics, guidance components, machine tools, industrial equipment, freight-forwarding support, front-company infrastructure, and sanctions-evasion services. Beijing has also maintained direct channels with the Houthis to protect Chinese shipping moving through the Red Sea. That does not mean the Houthis are simply proxies of Putin’s criminalized counterintelligence state or the Chinese Communist Party. It means something more complicated is emerging. What we are seeing is a decentralized anti-U.S. strategic ecosystem in which different actors provide different forms of support: 1. The mullah regime remnants provide the core military relationship. 2. Putin’s criminalized counterintelligence state provides selective state, military, economic, and potentially intelligence support. 3. The Chinese Communist Party provides diplomatic access and an extraordinarily important industrial and procurement environment. That structure does not require a single headquarters, unified command, or formal alliance to be dangerous. It only requires overlapping interests, complementary capabilities, and a willingness to exploit the same pressure points against the United States and its partners.
