Mail CC Offers vs. Online
Here is my scenario: I have excellent personal credit scores of 814, 795, and 793. I'm trying to determine the best strategy for my situation. I frequently receive preapproval offers from various credit cards, including American Express and Wells Fargo, through the mail. These offers typically indicate that I have been preapproved and provide a QR code or URL to proceed with the application.
My question is: Does it matter if I apply using the information mailed to me versus applying online directly? Are both methods essentially the same, or is there an advantage to one over the other? I need to understand this to curate the appropriate sequence for my situation.
