For us, we started this journey after we had children. We both enjoyed vegetables from our parents and grandparents gardens with fond memories of enjoying it right off the plant and felt that the flavour we remembered from childhood was rarely found at the grocery store.
We wanted to provide the best food possible for our children and knew if we could grow great tasting vegetables, we wouldn’t have to resort to dinner table negotiations. And we knew we made the right decision when they would ask for seconds.
Now we grow for our community and it’s feels incredibly rewarding when we’re told how great our food tastes.
