Working out itself doesn't lose weight.
Have you heard the phrase, the body is made in the kitchen?
Working out helps you. It genuinely does. Your energy, your strength, your mental health, your consistency, all of it gets better when you move.
But it's not 100%. It's not the full picture.
What you eat is the other piece. The bigger piece, honestly.
And here's where it gets real:
For a lot of people, the more you tell yourself not to eat, the more you eat. You restrict, you white-knuckle it, and then the hunger comes back ten times harder. Because your body thinks it's starving. It goes into survival mode. It holds on to everything.
This is not your fault, it's literally biology.
Your body doesn't know you're on a diet. It just knows it's not getting enough, and it will fight you for it.
That's why GLP-1 works. Not because it starves you. Because it finally tells your body what to do. It regulates the signal. The hunger becomes manageable. The survival mode turns off.
So keep showing up. The workout matters. But pair it with what actually works, starting with understanding why your body does what it does.
