Remember those late-night prayers… the desperate conversations with Jesus when you needed Him to come through?Remember the promises you made God when you were under pressure, afraid, or out of options?
Now pause—and ask yourself: how many of those promises did you actually keep?
If we’re honest, many of us cried out for rescue, breakthrough, healing, or change… and when God showed up, we quietly moved on. Yet God, in His mercy, remains gracious—even when we fall short. He is patient. He is loving. He is faithful, even when we are not.
But let’s be clear: grace is not a license to be careless.
God is a good God. His love is unconditional. Still, there comes a moment when we must stop taking advantage of the grace extended to us every single day and start honoring God with obedience. Start keeping your word. Start living the life you promised Him you would live.
Not because of what He can do for you—but because of what He has already done.
Be obedient to His Word. Walk in integrity. Live with gratitude. Let your life reflect the promises you once made in desperation.
Today is a good day to remember…And an even better day to keep your promise to God.
