Quick Introduction
Hey hey I’m Jonathan. 👋
I’ve always had an entrepreneurial spirit even before I knew it that was. Tried all kinds of ways to make money online back in the day. I laugh at some of the things I tried.
My “day job” is freelancing in the film/tv/media industry. I didn’t have any real success online until the world shut down in 2020. I was working I a show and my job disappeared overnight. I had to figure out what to do. I told myself if I just made YouTube videos I’d at least get some ad revenue. So I started making video. Didn’t know what I was doing but learned along the way.
Started making videos about the tools I was using to make my YouTube content. One $17 product was a text to speech software. Today’s AI versions would put this one to shame but I reviewed it and posted the video with an affiliate link in the description. That video started to rank and it with upsells made about $200 a sale.
I realized that you could promote other peoples products and make an income. That became on of the pain points I could solve for people. Since then I’ve also done a lot in DeFi. That’s a whole other story.
I still do my freelancing because I enjoy it but passive income online gave me the power to say no to things and get my time back.
