Hello from California!
I am Marcos, living now in Oakland, California with my life partner. I was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico. I am both a software engineer and a Buddhist meditator.
The engineering started when I was 12 and coded up games. That passion took me to Silicon Valley, where I've made a career. I am now getting a startup off the ground and helping friends start theirs.
The meditation started when I was 22 and lived near the San Francisco Zen Center. Since then, I joined a Tibetan practitioner community. That has taken me on pilgrimage to Nepal/India and to regular retreats.
As far as socials go, I was the type that had to de-install Twitter to slow down my usage. I'm not there anymore, but I have now turned on accounts everywhere for marketing purposes. My FOMO manifests in YouTube...I just can't get enough of learning.
