Stacatto on with open strings.
Jimmy - I'm reviewing a video of your Musette lesson in Asheville - I'm going to work on waltzes with walking bass lines. You mentioned elsewhere that open strings are part of the sound. So technique wise, how do you mute the open strings to make it staccato? Do you use your right hand palm?
