Won a $120 USD Mouse !!

Yesterday, my team and I won 1st place at a mini hackathon! 🔥

The challenge was to build a fully local RAG agent using Python, all under time pressure.

What made this one special for me was realising how much my past learning paid off. I’ve been spending time exploring AI automations, mostly with tools like n8n, and those same concepts helped me understand how RAG agents work at a deeper level.

So even though everyone started from the same point, I could quickly connect the dots on vector stores, retrieval logic, and embeddings, which made a real difference during the build.

It reminded me that every small thing you learn compounds, even if you’re experimenting with no-code tools. The mindset and problem-solving carry over when you start coding.

And the best part? Each of us walked away with a brand new MX Master 4 as the prize. 🖱️
