“Why So Many Agency Owners Are Going Solo (and Burning Out Doing It)”
I’ve noticed something interesting while talking to agency owners lately —almost everyone is doing it alone.
They’re the strategist, marketer, operator, and tech lead all at once.
And while that hustle looks impressive from the outside, it’s exactly why most agencies plateau early.
The truth is — growth happens fastest when you have both sides covered:
🧠 Technical Co-Founder:
turns ideas into systems, automation, and client-ready delivery.
💡 Marketing Co-Founder:
turns systems into stories, leads, and brand momentum.
One without the other is like running on one leg — you can move, but not fast, not far.
I think most founders don’t have a co-founder because:
  • Trust is hard to build online
  • Skills rarely align perfectly
  • And everyone’s afraid of giving up control
But at scale, doing everything solo costs way more than sharing control ever will.
Curious though — do you currently have a co-founder (marketing or technical)?Or are you still handling both sides yourself?
