I might be seeing something that's not there, so I want a vibe check. Will y'all come through for me?
The situation is that every time I have a demo scheduled, instead of a reminder message, I send the prospect a short visual preview. I accompany this preview with a short message like "I'm excited for tomorrow" or simply no message at all.
This approach always elicits a positive response from the client on the surface. However, it also results in the demo being rescheduled 100% of the time, at the client's request. Did I stumble onto some strange power move, or what? Personally, I wanted more time to work on the demo anyway. Now, they're just giving me more time. Yes this is what I wanted. Is this good in practice, though? It might not matter.
Can anyone else speak to this experience/phenomenon?
