SIMEP — From a Messy Spreadsheet to an AI-Powered Contractor OS

The problem. MEP contractors (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) run their entire business on tangled Excel files and WhatsApp. Budgets (RAB), material prices, progress billing, taxes, and profit-sharing all live in separate places — so nobody actually knows "is this project making money, how much has been billed, and where did the cash go?"

What we built. SIMEP is a single web app that turns one price catalog into three things automatically: professional documents, staged invoices, and a real profit report.

How it works, end to end:

Catalog — a living price library for materials and installation services, with AI that searches the web to fill in market prices.
Projects & RAB — pull items from the catalog; cost (modal) and markup flow in automatically, so projected profit shows instantly.
Offers (Penawaran) — build a multi-page, branded quotation with AI-written narrative; when the client agrees, promote it to a project with prices locked at the agreed rate.
Termin & Tax — staged progress billing that knows the previous termin, with PPN/PPh handled correctly.
Documents (PDF) — auto-generate Opname, BAPP, BAP, Invoice, Kuitansi — letterhead, numbering, and amount-in-words included.
Accounting — separates projected profit from real cash profit, tracks expenses, re-invested capital, and profit-sharing — so the numbers finally tell the truth.

The principle that keeps it safe: the AI only writes and searches; every rupiah is calculated by code. No made-up numbers.
