LLM Engineer for AI Customer Support Automation
We are hiring an LLM Engineer to help automate customer support workflows for an e-commerce operation.
Current workflow issues:• Support agents repeatedly answer the same shipping and refund questions• Product details are spread across multiple systems• Response quality depends heavily on individual staff experience• High ticket volume creates delays during busy periods
What you will build:• AI assistant trained on product and policy documentation• Smart ticket classification and routing system• Suggested-response generation for support staff• Internal knowledge retrieval using embeddings and vector search• Automated multilingual customer replies
Requirements:• Experience working with OpenAI, Claude, or Gemini APIs• Understanding of prompt engineering and hallucination prevention• Experience with RAG pipelines and semantic search• Ability to structure messy business information into AI-ready systems• Familiarity with Shopify, CRM tools, or support platforms is a plus
We value execution and problem-solving more than academic AI experience.
