Fully Automated Instagram Theme Pages!

Hey everyone 👋

Just wrapped up a super fun project I thought some of you might find useful: I built a system that creates and posts content to Instagram completely on its own.

With the rise of digital art theme pages on Instagram, I wanted to see if I could automate the whole process from start to finish...

The outcome was this content system, narrowing down the process to just a few clicks. 😁

No fluff—this thing actually does everything from writing prompts to generating music and video, even writing captions and hitting publish. All powered by n8n, Airtable, and a few APIs.

I'll share a video example of what the system creates. And yes, it's customizable to any sort of niche. I just chose digital art as it is something I am interested in. 🌅

Here's the flow:

Step 1: Generate the Idea 💭

It kicks off with a webhook. That feeds into a prompt generator (GPT-style), which spits out a creative idea, a theme for the music, and a potential caption. All of that gets logged in Airtable so it's easy to track.

Step 2: Bring the Content to Life 🏞️

Next, it creates the content based on the prompts - image, video, music, or a combo:

It creates and upscales images
Generates original music based on the theme
Produces video content.
Merges music with video if both are made.

Each step saves the final media file IDs back to Airtable, keeping everything organized.

Step 3: Automatically Post to Instagram 📆

Once the content's ready, another webhook takes over. It grabs the final assets and caption, creates the Instagram media container, waits for it to process, and posts it directly to your IG feed.

Last step: marks it as "posted" in Airtable.

This setup could be a game-changer if you're running a content-heavy brand or just want to stay visible on social without constantly being glued to your phone. It’s consistent, creative, and totally hands-free once it’s up and running.
